Avery Dennison Label and Packaging Materials is adding two new label materials with sustainable facestocks to its Wine & Spirits Portfolio, each designed to help winemakers and converters address the growing consumer demand for sustainability. The company will showcase these products at the 2018 Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, taking place in Sacramento, CA, USA from January 24-25.

Responding to the needs and demand of consumers, many winemakers are becoming more sensitive to the environmental impact of their production practices and packaging materials. The new Avery Dennison label products will help converters offer a broader range of sustainable materials to address the buying behaviors of its wine and spirits customers.

The new facestocks include:

Grape Touch
Exclusive to Avery Dennison, Grape Touch is made of 15% grape waste sourced from wine production. With an attractive, natural color, it provides a closed loop solution with impactful shelf appeal.

Estate Label No. 14
Estate Label No. 14 is a 100% post-consumer-waste (PCW) paper material that maintains color and strength, even when wet. It successfully marries the Estate Label standard of excellence to the sustainability that consumers now expect.
